Michael Benjamin studied fine art at Pratt and Cooper Union, and he scribbles on walls for Sol LeWitt. He also spent several years hanging for Pace Galleries as an art handler, and in NYC parks as a portrait artist.
Michael's work explores dualities visually and conceptually. He avoids labels, cultivates ideas, tends his mustache, and skips fences. His most recent work comes from spending the last 3.5 years on the road with his family, towing an overstuffed camper for 17,000+ miles.
Michael founded ArtShip in 2005, bringing visual artists together to work collaboratively in an ego-shattering romp.
