Karen sat behind Michael in high school, and they hadn’t seen each other since then. A few texts over the last few years, and we decided to stop by their Tulsa home last summer. We stayed a delightful week and plowed deep, and for this last-minute portrait their two boys weren’t available, so fur and feathers stood in.
